This concentration emphasizes how the ability to speak another language fluently can be an asset in today’s global work environment. It will also provide the necessary knowledge to pursue an advanced degree, if desired. Foreign language students may find careers in government or non-profit administration, linguistics, foreign service, immigration, customs, law enforcement, public relations, journalism, marketing, broadcasting, translation, customer services, imports/exports, health services, education, research, tourism, social work, cultural affairs, advertising, and international business.
