Twelve hours chosen from English literature classes at the 3000-4000 level.
Career Information:
An area of concentration in creative writing provides study of the creation of poetry, fiction, or non-fiction works. Students read and analyze the work of established writers and write original creative work. It will also provide the necessary knowledge to pursue an advanced degree, if desired. Creative writing students may find careers in publishing, journalism, bibliography, education, advertising, and free-lance or published writing.
