The Division of Continuing Studies offers the Bachelor of General Studies degree with an area of concentration in computer science.

Additional Information:
Necessary math courses through Calculus I (Math 1950) & Discrete Math (Math 2030) are required before entering CSCI 2710.

Career Information:
An area of concentration in computer science is concerned with the study of all aspects of computing, including hardware, software, algorithms and contemporary applications. It provides students with a solid background in the fundamentals of computing and the necessary knowledge to pursue an advanced degree, if desired. Computer science students may find careers in programming, systems development, network administration, database management, systems installation and implementation, instructional technology, software design, consulting, education, technical writing, web design, and sales.
