Chemistry students use math, theory, and experimentation to study substances and matter. They may find careers in research, education, environmental agencies, food processing, industrial health and safety, natural resources, product development, forensics, quality control, pharmaceuticals, technical writing, administration, and legislation. Chemistry can also lead to careers in healthcare by preparing students for medical school and other professional/advanced degrees or licenses.
