Aviation Studies

The Division of Continuing Studies offers the Bachelor of General Studies degree with an area of concentration in aviation studies.

Required:

AVN 1000	Introduction to Aviation (may be waived based on experience	3 hrs
	Additional hours of Aviation	27 hrs
	At least 9 hours upper division

Additional information:

Students may receive credit for flight certificates and ratings in one of the following ways:

Through traditional academic transfer.
By enrolling in UNO courses.
Through non-traditional credit, such as FAA certificates and ratings, or military training.

Students may use up to 9 hours of FAA certificate credit in the area of concentration.
