Place of FAA Pilot's Certificates in Degree Program: Students may receive credit for flight certificates and ratings in one of the following ways:
- Through traditional academic transfer.
- By enrolling in UNO courses.
- Through non-traditional credit, such as FAA certificates and ratings, or military training.
A student can use this credit in a secondary field or as elective credit.

Career Information:
An area of concentration in aviation administration will provide students with the skills needed by administrators of airports, airlines, government transportation agencies, aerospace companies, or any other aviation-related business. It will develop expertise in management and aviation operations that can lead to careers in aviation sales and marketing, passenger services, logistics, airport operations, air traffic control, and transportation planning.
